“Water damage” describes a number of possible losses that are caused by “invading water” due to a broken dishwasher hose, washing machine overflow, a dishwasher leak, broken or leaking pipes, slab leaks, or even clogged toilets. This water invasion can attack materials or systems, leading to a wide range of destruction, from rotting wood, rusting steel, delaminating of materials like plywood, tile, and so much more. Water damage may be slow or fast and can mar a surface without you knowing. No matter how quickly it occurs, water damage is a major contributor to property loss.
To prevent burst pipes, it is essential to Know Your Water Shutoff Valve.
Shutoff valves are typically levers with a rubber cap on the handle with one main lever (red or blue color) and several smaller ones found in the home. Yours might be attached to your hose valve. To prevent future damage, it is best to turn off your water line if you are going on vacation or plan to be away from your home for an extended period of time, especially if you have previously experienced a burst pipe.

This is a long, overdue review. I had pinnacle come out to do an estimate for painting. We ended up not going with them because the estimate was over our budget.
When the painter came out to do the estimate he parked in the driveway and his van leaked oil on our driveway. We called pinnacle and told them what happened. They had him come out right away to clean the stain and he even came back the next day to finish.
Mistakes happen but I was impressed with how the company handled themselves afterwards. It’s nice to see businesses have integrity these days.

Pinnacle Restoration was a lot of help for me with damage due to a leak. I also had mold damage as a result of that leak. They came in and identified the problem quickly and immediately took care of talking to my insurance company. They were strong advocates for me when dealing with the insurance. They would not let the insurance company cut corners or scoff at anything that needed to be fixed with this big issue. When they finally got approval from the insurance company, the workers were scheduled quickly and arrived on time. They got the work done quickly and efficiently. They would communicate very well with us if there were any hold-ups of any kind. The finished job looks wonderful, and I could not be happier with the results! I hope I never have to go through this type of problem again but if I did I would call them first!
